5 Things You Need to Know About Luvo’s New Director of Nutrition

We’d like to give a big, warm welcome to Luvo’s new Director of Nutrition, Samantha Cassetty, M.S., R.D. To help you get to know her a little better, here are five fun food facts about this New Yorker:

Favorite Luvo Meal: Cherry Tomato and Mozzarella Flatbread. It tastes so fresh and indulgent. I also love the Farmer’s Market Frittata. It’s super flavorful and has a killer sweet potato-mango hash that I crave

Favorite Non-Luvo Meal: I make a mean salmon with a pomegranate juice glaze. It’s very simple but tastes really special. Outside the house I love falafel. I’m a huge fan of falafel on salad!

Go-To Vegetable: We eat tons of roasted veggies in my house, but our favorite is cauliflower. If I don’t have time to roast it, I steam it and make cauliflower mash.

Favorite Food Trend: I love the fact that trends like the Paleo Diet and juicing are driving people toward eating more produce. We could all use a little more fruits and veggies in our lives!

A Rule I’ll Never Break: I never skip meals and I include produce at every eating occasion.
Bonus Fact: I’m an unapologetic chocoholic and I indulge in a small fix every day, but keep it on top of my fridge to help manage my temptations.
