Our Philosophy
Our Philosophy is Simple
We want to make it easy to make good choices by creating wholesome, nutritious meals that taste amazing. And we’re doing it by sticking with a few guiding principles:
Food should be delicious.
If it doesn’t make your mouth water and your heart happy, you won’t want to eat it. We’ve crafted our recipes with a food lover’s dedication to freshness, variety and flavor. We pride ourselves on coming up with dishes for every taste, including a selection of vegetarian and vegan options. Browse through our menu to learn more about what we’ve been up to in our kitchen.
Food should be nutritious.
Every body is different, but one thing we all need is good nutrition. That’s why we promise to use less of the stuff so many of us want to cut back on—like sugar and sodium—and more of the things we really need, including fiber, vitamins, and minerals. We keep calories low, and include nutrient-dense ingredients like fruits, vegetables, whole grains and quality lean proteins flash frozen to retain their natural goodness. Learn more in our FAQ, or by reading our menu.
The smart choice should be an easy choice.
Maybe you’re short on time. Or sticking to a budget. Or you’re on the go and just can’t find any good options. But you shouldn’t have to sacrifice nutrition or taste in the name of convenience. Our chefs work hard to create meals you’d want to make in your own kitchen, but don’t always have the time. If you haven’t seen us at the store, give us your zip code and we’ll help find a Luvo retailer near you.
Food should come from a good place.
Where your food comes from makes a big difference—not just to your body, but to the world as well. So we’re making every effort to support farmers and suppliers with people-, animal- and planet-friendly practices. We use antibiotic-free meat and poultry, and non-GMO ingredients whenever possible. Of course it’s a work in progress, but we’re constantly working to bring you the highest quality, most delicious, nutrient-dense food at the best price. Learn more about our practices in our FAQ.
