Healthier prepared food company Luvo made headlines last week after hiring former lululemon CEO Christine Day as its new CEO. Now, it’s got more big news to share.

The company—which makes low-calorie frozen meals (that resemble Lean Cuisine with more wholesome, clean ingredients and much hipper packaging)—will be providing meals on transcontinental Delta flights between JFK in New York and Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Seattle.

Travelers will be able to choose from a quinoa crunch wrap made with veggies, edamame hummus, and a black rice and bean salad, a grilled chicken wrap with avocado and vegan herb aioli, and a roast turkey wrap with havarti, arugula, and edamame hummus. The meals will be free for people seated in Economy Comfort and available for purchase for those seated in Economy.

Between quinoa making its in-flight debut and Virgin’s recent introduction of a detox beverage and healthier menu, we’re starting to think air travel is only going to keep getting healthier. —Lisa Elaine Held
