New York Yankees Captain Derek Jeter has distinguished himself on the field during his 19 seasons in professional baseball, while also placing a huge emphasis on giving back to the community. During his rookie season in 1996, Derek established the Turn 2 Foundation, a charitable organization that motivates children and teens to avoid drugs and alcohol and rewards high academic excellence, leadership development and positive behavior. It is this priority he places on healthy lifestyle that inspired him to join Luvo’s executive team as Partner, Brand Development Officer. He will be involved in product development, will help to enhance Luvo’s brand awareness, will help to create strategic partnerships and will offer counsel on other relationships that are developed in the sports and nutrition world.
